Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The recruitment selection process consists of three distinct stages:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): An objective exam of 2 hours duration containing 85 questions with no negative marking.
  2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates in a 1:5 ratio from the CBT will be called for an interview.
  3. Medical Fitness: Candidates must clear physical medical standards set by ONGC.

CBT Structure

  • Part I (Concerned Domain Subject): 40 Questions
  • Part II (General Awareness): 10 Questions
  • Part III (Aptitude Test): 25 Questions
  • Part IV (English Language): 10 Questions
  • Total Weightage: CBT Score (85%) + Interview (15%) = 100% Marks

Test Centres

The CBT exam will be conducted across multiple major cities, including Guwahati, Kolkata, Delhi (NCR), Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, among others.{inAds}
