The Meghalayan Age Ltd (MAL), a Government of Meghalaya Undertaking, is looking for creative and skilled individuals to join the MyMeG Project. They are currently conducting a walk-in recruitment drive to fill the position of Young Professional (Videographer and Drone Operator) on a contractual basis. Eligibility Criteria & Desired Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
Age Limit: Up to 32 years.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication or related fields is desired.
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in video production.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English is compulsory, along with at least one local language (Khasi, Garo, or Pnar).
Essential Skills & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end video production process, from creative conceptualization to final delivery.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in operating professional video gear, gimbals, and drones is essential. You must be skilled in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Event Management: Candidates must have successfully managed video production for at least one event with over 5,000 attendees.
Creative Narratives: Developing storyboards, shot lists, and mood boards to align with the brand’s vision.
Local Nuance: A deep understanding of the cultural, social, and economic nuances of Meghalaya is required to ensure authentic content creation.
Coordination: Ability to work with government departments for permissions and logistics.
