Group 1: Assistant Dietician / Dietician / Junior Dietician / Warden
- Assistant Dietician & Dietician: Requires an M.Sc. degree in Food and Nutrition (or allied clinical nutrition branches) along with 2 to 3 years of clinical experience in a large or 200-bedded teaching hospital.
- Warden: Aimed at candidates aged 18–27 years holding a Graduate Degree plus a Diploma in Home Science, or a full Degree in Home Science.
Group 2: Junior Administrative Officer / Assistant Administrative Officer / Office Assistant
- ICMR Assistant: Open to graduates with a minimum 3-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline along with basic computer proficiency in MS Office. The age limit is up to 30 years.
- Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO): Degree from a recognized university. Post-graduate qualifications like an MBA or PG Diploma in Management are highly desirable.
- Junior Administrative Officer / Office Assistant: Degree from a recognized institution with structural proficiency in computer applications. Age limits generally stand between 21 and 30 years.
Group 3: Data Entry Operator (DEO) / Junior Administrative Assistant / LDC / UDC
- Data Entry Operator Grade A: 12th standard pass with a required data entry speed of at least 8,000 key depressions per hour (KDPH).
- Junior Administrative Assistant / Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th pass or equivalent with a typing speed standard of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
- Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Degree from a recognized university with working operational knowledge of computer office suites and structured databases.
Group 4 & 5: Junior Engineer (Civil / Electrical) & Assistant Engineer
- Engineers (Civil & Electrical): Candidates must hold either a graduate degree in the respective engineering field (with 2 years of domain experience preferred) or a 3-year Diploma in Engineering backed by 5 years of professional experience in project maintenance/design.
Comprehensive Age Relaxation Norms
Crucial eligibility mapping with respect to age is calculated exactly as of the closing date, July 3, 2026. Permissible upper age relaxations are outlined below:
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL): 3 years

The assessment process comprises a unified Computer Based Test (CBT) spanning a total duration of 90 minutes.
- Total Marks & Layout: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) accounting for a total of 400 marks (4 marks awarded per correct answer).
- Sectional Breakup: 20 MCQs assess General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Basic Computer Knowledge. 80 MCQs evaluate the domain-specific technical syllabus matching the post group.
- Negative Marking: There is a strict penalty of 1 mark deduction for every wrong answer.
- Section Locking: The test features 5 distinct sections, each timed for exactly 18 minutes. Once a section's time expires, it auto-submits, locks, and transitions to the next section. Retakes or backtracking are not permitted.
- Qualifying Percentiles: Minimum cut-off marks are locked at 40% for UR/EWS, 35% for OBC, and 30% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.

A separate examination fee is applicable if a candidate chooses to apply for multiple distinct post groups:
- General / OBC Candidates: Rs. 3,000/-
- SC / ST Candidates / EWS: Rs. 2,400/- (Application fees for SC/ST candidates who actively sit for the test will be refunded to their source account post-results).
