1. B.Tech Programme
Available Departments: Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Energy Engineering, Biomedical Engineering.
- Total Seats: 18 seats in each department plus supernumerary seats.
- Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject like Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, Biotechnology, etc., depending on the chosen department. Alternatively, candidates who passed D.Voc in the same stream or allied sector are eligible.
- Selection Process: Admission cutoffs are based on the JEE (Main) score. The minimum score required is 30% of the JEE (Advanced) cut-off marks in the respective category. Seat distribution follows 50% Open Category and 50% Reserved for SC/ST, with EWS reservations applied per Government of India rules.
2. B.Tech Lateral Entry (Admission into 2nd Year / 3rd Semester)
- ECE: 3 years of Engineering Diploma in ECE/Electrical/Instrumentation/Medical Electronics/IT/CSE with at least 3 years of institutional study after Class 10/SSLC; OR B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Electronics/Mathematics/Physics with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) and Mathematics at 10+2 level.
- IT: Diploma in IT/CSE/ECE with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST/Differently-abled) after Class 10/SSLC; OR B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Electronics/IT/Computer Science/Physics/Mathematics with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD); OR BCA with 10+2 level Mathematics and 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD).
- Energy Engineering: 3 years Diploma in Energy/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks after Class 10/SSLC; OR B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science/Electronics with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) and compulsory Mathematics at both 10+2 and B.Sc. levels.
- Biomedical Engineering: Diploma in Biomedical Engineering/Instrumentation/Medical Electronics with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/Differently-abled) after Class 10/equivalent; OR B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics/Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Electronics with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) and 10+2 level Mathematics. Final year students awaiting results can also apply.
- Selection Process: Based on the score achieved in the entrance examination conducted by the respective NEHU department alongside applicable weightages.
3. Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
- Total Seats: 30 seats.
- Eligibility Criteria: Minimum 50% marks in aggregate at the 10+2 level with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects; OR a 10+3 year diploma recognized by the Central/State Government with at least 50% aggregate marks and Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must possess a valid National Aptitude Test of Architecture (NATA) score conducted by the Council of Architecture.
- Selection Process: Merit list prepared combining the qualifying examination marks, NATA score, and structural weightages (50% Open, 50% SC/ST).
4. M.Sc. in Biotechnology
- Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must hold a B.Sc. or B.Tech. degree in Biotechnology or allied science subjects. Appearing final-year students are also welcome to apply.
- Mandatory Requirement: Applicants must have appeared in the GAT-B (Graduate Aptitude Test for Biotechnology) examination conducted by RCB Faridabad. Candidates must submit their GAT-B Rank Card and final mark sheet during application.
5. Master of Technology (M.Tech)
- Total Seats: 23 seats in each department plus supernumerary seats.
- Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must hold a valid PG CUET score. The required educational qualifications are:
- M.Tech IT: B.E./B.Tech. in IT/CSE/ECE/EE, MCA, or M.Sc. in Computer Science/Electronics with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or 6.0 Credit on a 10-point scale.
- M.Tech ECE: B.E./B.Tech. in ECE/Electrical Engineering or M.Sc. in Electronics with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or 6.0 Credit on a 10-point scale.
- M.Tech Nanotechnology: B.E./B.Tech. in Nanotechnology/Biochemical/Biomedical/Biotechnology/Chemical/ECE/Energy/Electrical/IT/Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering; OR M.Sc. in Nanoscience/Physics/Chemistry/Material Science/Electronics/Biotechnology with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or 6.0 Credit on a 10-point scale.
- M.Tech Biomedical Engineering: B.Tech/B.E. in Biomedical/Bio-instrumentation/Medical Electronics/Biochemical/Biotechnology/Electrical/ECE/Mechanical/CSE/IT/Instrumentation; OR MBBS with internship, 4-year Physiotherapy programme, B.Pharma, or M.Sc. in Biomedical Instrumentation/Electronics/Physics with 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST) or 6.0 grade points on a 10-point scale. - Mandatory Requirement: Must hold a valid PG CUET score in the concerned subject.
7. Ph.D. Programme (School of Technology)
- General Eligibility: Master's Degree/M.Phil. with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC non-creamy layer/EWS/Differently-abled) in the concerned or allied/cognate subject. Alternatively, candidates with a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 75% marks (70% for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Differently-abled) can apply.
- Specialized Departments: Ph.D. positions are open across Computer Application, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Nanotechnology, and Energy Engineering.
- Note for In-Service Candidates: A 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) from the employer must be submitted along with the application.
- Admission Procedure: Based on either a valid UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/ICSSR-NET qualification based on an interview, OR an institutional entrance examination conducted by the respective departments followed by an interview.
