Detailed Post-Wise Eligibility Criteria
1. Position: Nurse
- Number of Vacancies: 01
- Job Location: Rongchongre SC, South Garo Hills, Meghalaya
- Salary: As per organizational norms
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, ANM, or GNM training (or a related field) equipped with solid knowledge of public health or hospital operations.
- Experience Required: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience working in a clinic or field setting.
- Skills & Language Requirements:
- Must be well-versed in Hindi and the local dialect.
- Strong community mobilization and excellent communication skills.
- Key Accountabilities:
- Visit project areas alongside the team during VHSND Programs.
- Work in close coordination with local community workers like ASHA and Anganwadi workers for seamless service delivery.
- Provide preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare services.
- Conduct impact-driven individual and group sessions regarding reproductive health, maternal/child health, nutrition, adolescent health, and communicable/non-communicable diseases.
- Assist in Sub-Center management, including patient flow, record-keeping, and medicine distribution.
- Facilitate patient referrals to the nearest secondary-level healthcare facilities and ensure regular follow-ups.
- Supervise and build the capacity of village health workers while maintaining precise reports.
2. Position: Project Coordinator

- Job Location: East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya
- Salary: As per norms
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Development Studies, Management, or a related field. Candidates holding a Master’s Degree will be given preference.
- Experience Required: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, managing education projects, or handling community development programs. Experience in the NGO sector or primary education fields is preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience in field monitoring and stakeholder coordination.
- Exceptional communication, reporting, and documentation abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple schools and centres simultaneously.
- High proficiency in MS Office and compiling structured reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to travel extensively across project locations.
- Key Expectations:
- Ensure the highly effective functioning of all 8 Primary Schools and 5 CBLCs under the project.
- Maintain a consistent field presence and execute regular monitoring.
- Meet project benchmarks tied to primary education and learning improvement.
