Eligibility Criteria & Screening Norms
- Professor: Ph.D. in the appropriate branch with First Class or equivalent in the preceding degree. Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, with at least 4 years as Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, IISc, IISERs, or equivalent institutions. Requires minimum 2 research papers in Category A, 4 in Category B, or 8 in Category C journals.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent in the preceding degree. Minimum 6 years of experience, with at least 3 years as Assistant Professor or equivalent. Requires minimum 1 research paper in Category A, 2 in Category B, or 4 in Category C journals.
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent in the preceding degree. Minimum 3 years of teaching/research/industrial experience (excluding Ph.D. period). Requires at least 2 publications in Web of Science/Scopus/ABDC journals.
- Assistant Professor Grade-II (On Contract): Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent in the preceding degree with a consistently good academic record.
Marks & Category Relaxation:
- Master's Degree: First Class or equivalent grade with a consistently good academic record.
- Bachelor's Degree: High Second Class (Minimum 55%) or equivalent.
- Category Relaxation: 5% relaxation for SC/ST/DAP and 3% relaxation for OBC in Master's and Bachelor's degrees.
