Meghalaya B.Sc Nursing Admission 2026 notification has been officially released by the Directorate of Health Services (Medical Education & Research - DME), Meghalaya. Eligible candidates who have qualified the State Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 can apply online for B.Sc. Nursing Course under the State Quota at Meghalaya Government College of Nursing (Civil Hospital, Shillong) and Shillong Government College of Nursing (Ganesh Das Govt. M&CH Hospital, Shillong) for the academic session 2026–2027.

High-Impact Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be bona fide citizens of Meghalaya.
- Educational Qualification: Passed 12th Standard (10+2) with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined, and passed English individually.
- Students from State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government with Science and English subjects are eligible.
- Mandatory Requirement: Must have appeared in the State Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 and obtained the required percentile cut-off score declared by the Directorate. Applications without the State CEE 2026 Score Sheet will be rejected.
- Age Limit: Must complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2026.
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit. Colour blind candidates are eligible provided they wear corrective contact lenses or spectacles.
Selection Process & Tie-Breaking Rules
- Merit Ranking: Candidates are ranked strictly based on their State CEE 2026 score within their respective categories while adhering to the Meghalaya State Reservation Policy.
- Seat Allocation: For the Open Category, seats are allotted solely on merit. For Reserved Categories (Khasi & Jaintia, Garo, SC, OST), seats are allocated round-by-round, matching rankers equitably until seats are filled.
- Tie-Breaking Order: In case of equal CEE percentile scores, ties are resolved in order of higher score in: 1) Biology, 2) Chemistry, 3) Physics, 4) English, and 5) Older age.
- Note: Candidates who previously applied under the advertisement dated 27th July 2026 MUST submit a fresh online application. The Government does not guarantee a job after completion of the course.
