Meghalaya Nursing Admission 2025 notification, The Director of Health Services (MI), Meghalaya, Shillong invites online applications for the 3 year course in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) and 2 years courses in Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM) session 2025-2026. Male/Female candidates who are indigenous inhabitants or permanent residents of the State are eligible to apply subject to fulfillment of the following criteria. The last date for submission of the application is 27th June 2023 till 3:00 P.M.
1. Course Name:- Meghalaya GNM Nursing Admission 2025
- Duration: 3 years
- Age limit: Minimum age for admission will be 17 years as of 31st December 2025. The upper age limit is 35 years and for candidates possessing an ANM certificate, there is no age bar.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- 10+2 level examination with 40% aggregate marks from recognized University/ Board. Candidates are also eligible from the State Open School recognized by the State government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government. However, Science is preferable.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of Marks in Vocational Stream-Health Care Science from recognized CBSE board/ State/ Centre.
- Registered Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) with 10+2 educational qualifications.
- Disabled Candidates – 3% disability reservation to be considered with a disability of locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity after thoroughly examined and certified by Medical & Health Officer.
2. Course Name:- Meghalaya ANM Nursing Admission 2025 (Female Only)
- Duration: 2 years
- Upper age limit: 35 years as of 31st December 2025
- Eligibility Criteria: The minimum educational qualification shall be 10+2 recognized by MBOSE/ CBSE/ ICSE/SSSCE/ HSCE or a recognized equivalent examination. Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.

Interested and eligible candidates will to get admission into Meghalaya GNM/ANM course under State quota may apply online online through the Megalaya Health Official website https://meghealth.gov.in. The last date is 27th June 2025 till 3:00 PM.

Selection Procedure
For Meghalaya GNM Nursing Admission 2025
Candidates are required to appear before the Screening Committee which will be held on the 21st & 22nd July 2025 from 8:00 A.M - 5:00 P.M at School of Nursing Civil Hospital, Shillong and Civil Hospital, Tura. The Applicant will also be medically examined at the same time.
The list of candidates eligible for appearing the Screening will be displayed in the Government website at www.meghealth.gov.in. The applicants are to bring along with all the relevant documents in originals at the time of Screening.
For Meghalaya ANM Nursing Admission 2025
Candidates are required to appear before the Screening Committee which will be held on the 24th & 25th July, 2025 from 8:00 A.M - 4:00 P.M at Female Health Worker Training School Ganesh Das Govt. MCH Hospital, Shillong and Civil Hospital, Tura. The Applicant will also be medically examined at the same time.
The list of candidates eligible for appearing the Screening will be displayed in the Government website at www.meghealth.gov.in. The applicants are to bring along with all the relevant documents in originals at the time of Screening.
The Final list of selected candidates eligible for the undergoing the course will be displayed in Government website at www.meghealth.gov.in. No individual intimation will be served on candidate selected.
