- Remuneration: For Full Time PoP - Rs. 1,59,100/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Nine Thousand) only per month fixed. For Part Time PoP - Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) only per day for the days of academic/research participation at the Institute, excluding the days of travel.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Eminent persons from the industry or R&D organizations can be engaged as Professors of Practice, who would be expected to spend full time in the Institute, help to enrich the experience of students by bringing deep understanding and appreciation of the best practices as applied in real-world settings in a particular field of study. Additionally, they would help promote the integration of academic scholarships with the practical experience of professionals in a given field.
- Candidates should have a reasonable minimum of 15 years of technical, managerial, or professional experience. They should have at least a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a master's degree in Engineering/Sciences/ Humanities/Management/Education, or related fields. A Ph.D. is desirable but not essential. Depending on the years of experience, the person may be offered the position of Professor of Practice. Retired persons from industry/ R&D organizations will be considered. Professor of Practice posts are not open for those who are in the teaching profession.
