1. District Functional Specialist - Institutional Building & Capacity Building (DFS-IBCB)

• Vacancies: 1 Post (Khasi Region)
• Monthly Salary: Rs. 39,000/-
• Age Limit: Within 30 years (Age relaxation applicable as per rules)
• Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree / PG Diploma / Degree in Rural Development, Social Work, Agriculture, or Science from a recognized University/Institution.
• Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in Rural Development and Poverty Alleviation Programmes, working with SHGs, Community Organizations, or Cooperatives. Experience in training rural masses is preferred.
• Other Requirements: Computer skills emphasizing MS Office and Google Sheets.

2. District Functional Specialist - Information & Technology (DFS-IT)

• Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.

Important Terms, Conditions & Relaxations

• Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for PWDs (15 years for SC/ST PWDs).
• Minimum Marks: Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in their respective qualifying degrees.
• Language & Preferences: Local candidates who can speak, read, and write local languages will be given preference.
• Fieldwork Requirement: Posts are transferable, require extensive travel in remote rural areas, and involve night stays in villages for about 15 days in a month.

Selection Process & Exam Center

Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email and must undergo a multi-modal selection process:

1. Preliminary Examination: Tests verbal, quantitative, and analytical abilities (Held at Shillong).
2. Further Rounds: Group Discussion, Skill Test, and/or Personal Interview.

Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process. Candidates currently employed in private/public sectors must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
