Detailed Post Breakdown & Educational Qualifications
Candidates must ensure they fulfill the strict educational criteria as of July 21, 2026, before proceeding with the online registration:
1. IT Officer (Scale I): Requires a 4-year Engineering or Technology degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Electronics & Instrumentation. Alternatively, a Post Graduate Degree in these same fields or a Graduate passing DOEACC 'B' level is eligible.
2. Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I): Requires a 4-year graduation degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, Fishery Science, Pisciculture, Agri. Marketing & Cooperation, Co-operation & Banking, Agro-Forestry, Forestry, Agricultural Biotechnology, B.Tech Biotechnology, Food Science, Agriculture Business Management, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Sericulture, or Fisheries Engineering.
3. Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I): Requires a Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the graduation level, or a Post Graduate degree in Sanskrit with both English and Hindi as subjects at the graduation level.
4. Law Officer (Scale I): Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) and enrollment as an advocate with the Bar Council.
5. HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I): Requires a regular Graduation degree along with a two-year full-time post-graduate degree or a two-year full-time post-graduate diploma in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, HR, HRD, Social Work, or Labour Law.
6. Marketing Officer (Scale I): Requires a regular Graduation degree along with a Two Years Full-time MMS (Marketing), Two Years Full-time MBA (Marketing), or Two Years Full-time PGDBA / PGDBM / PGPM / PGDM with specialization in Marketing.{inAds}
Age Limit & Salary Scale
Age Eligibility (As on 01.07.2026): Minimum 20 years and Maximum 30 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2006 (both dates inclusive).
Upper Age Relaxations: 5 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST), 3 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC Non-Creamy Layer), and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
Pay Scale & Compensation: The basic pay scale is structured as 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920. Officers will also be eligible for standard allowances, longitudinal increments, and perquisites as per the operating rules of their allotted participating public sector bank.

How to Apply Online
1. Visit the official website of IBPS.
2. Click on the home page link "CRP SPL" and select "CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-SPECIALIST OFFICERS (CRP SPL-XVI)".
3. Choose "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION" and enter your basic contact details to generate a temporary registration number and password.
4. Upload your scanned photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm), signature (in black ink), left thumb impression, standard 10th certificate, and a handwritten declaration written clearly in English with black ink.
5. Complete the fee payment through the integrated payment gateway and safely save a printout of the generated e-receipt and application form for future verification rounds.
