Vest-in-Villages India Pvt. Ltd. (ViV) has released an official recruitment notification for multiple career opportunities in Meghalaya. In partnership with the Meghalaya State Rural Livelihoods Society (MSRLS), the organization is implementing an innovative digital data analytics pilot called DART (Data Analytics, Rating & Tracking) under the Lakhpati Didi Mission in selected blocks of Ri Bhoi District.
This project aims to transform rural financial inclusion, digital data collection, and evidence-based planning for Self-Help Groups (SHGs) across the state. Local candidates from Meghalaya who are fluent in English and regional languages (Khasi, Garo, or Jaintia) are highly encouraged to apply.

1. District Operations & Data Quality Lead
- Number of Vacancies: 1 Post
- Job Location: Umsning / Ri Bhoi District Headquarters
- Consolidated Salary: ₹40,000 to ₹50,000 per month
- Contract Period: 12 Months
- Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Rural Development, Social Sciences, Management, Agriculture, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience Required: Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in rural development, livelihoods, financial inclusion, monitoring and evaluation, or program implementation. Experience working with NRLM/SRLM or government programs is preferred.
- Core Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate the DART pilot implementation across the district; coordinate with MSRLS District Mission Management Unit (DMMU); supervise, train, and mentor Block Operations Leads and field teams; oversee data quality assurance and validation.
2. Block Operations Lead
- Number of Vacancies: 2 Posts
- Job Location: Umsning / Ri Bhoi District
- Consolidated Salary: ₹25,000 to ₹33,000 per month
- Contract Period: 12 Months
- Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline, preferably in Rural Development, Social Sciences, Agriculture, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience Required: Minimum 4 years of relevant field experience in rural development, livelihoods, financial inclusion, community-based programs, or technology systems. Experience with SHGs, VOs, CLFs, or NGOs is highly preferred.
- Core Responsibilities: Coordinate activities at the block level; build relations with CLFs/VOs; supervise and support Field Facilitators; conduct household assessments using the DART mobile application; coordinate with MSRLS Block Mission Management Unit (BMMU).{inAds}
3. Field Facilitators
- Number of Vacancies: 4 Posts
- Job Location: Selected villages in Umsning / Ri Bhoi District
- Consolidated Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month
- Contract Period: 12 Months
- Educational Qualification: Graduate or Diploma holder. Candidates with Higher Secondary (10+2) qualifications may be considered in exceptional cases.
- Experience Required: 2 years of experience in community mobilization, household surveys, data collection, or rural development programs is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones and mobile apps.
- Core Responsibilities: Conduct household and institutional assessments using the DART mobile application; facilitate household visits and community meetings; manage a team of Community Resource Persons.
4. Young Professionals / Interns
- Number of Vacancies: 2 Posts
- Job Location: Shillong or Ri Bhoi District Headquarters
- Consolidated Salary: Competitive Monthly Stipend
- Contract Period: 6 Months
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Social Sciences, Management, or related disciplines (Fresh graduates or candidates who completed their degree within the last 3 years are eligible).
- Core Responsibilities: Support implementation and field coordination; assist in data analysis, reporting, documentation, and research; participate in training and monitoring activities.
General Requirements & Terms of Employment
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and relevant local languages like Khasi, Garo, or Jaintia (depending on the place of posting) is highly required.
- Travel Mandate: Most field-based positions require extensive travel to rural areas and close engagement with community institutions.
- Vehicle Ownership: Candidates applying for field positions must have their own reliable mode of transportation (such as a two-wheeler) and possess a valid driving license.
- Probation: Selected candidates will undergo a probation period of 3 to 6 months depending on the position.
