Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
- Navik (General Duty): Class 12th passed with Mathematics and Physics from an education board recognized by COBSE.
- Navik (Domestic Branch): Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by COBSE.
- Hygienist-I: Matriculation OR Industrial Training Institute (ITI) OR equivalent from a recognized Board of Education.
- Yantrik: Class 10th passed AND Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of 03 or 04 years duration approved by AICTE; OR Class 10th & Class 12th passed AND Diploma in the above disciplines of 02 or 03 years duration approved by AICTE.

Selection Process
Selection is conducted across four qualifying stages based on performance and medical standards:
- Stage-I: Computer-Based Online Examination (100 objective questions, 1 hour duration, bilingual, no negative marking).
- Stage-II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Assessment & Adaptability Test, Document Verification, and Recruitment Medical Examination.
- Stage-III: Document Verification, Pre-Enrolment Medicals, and Submission of Police Verification at INS Chilka.
- Stage-IV: Verification of original educational certificates with concerned boards and universities.

- General / EWS / OBC Candidates: Rs. 550/- (Payable online via Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI).
- SC / ST Candidates: Exempted from fee payment.

- Yantrik: Basic Pay Rs. 29,200/- (Pay Level-5) plus Yantrik Pay @ Rs. 6,200/- plus DA and other allowances.
