Detailed Eligibility Criteria
1. Essential Educational Qualification
- MBBS, BDS, or BVSc with a Postgraduate Degree (MD, MS, MDS, or MVSc) in a relevant subject from a recognized University/Institution along with 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- OR MBBS, BDS, or BVSc with MPH or PhD in a relevant subject with 3 years of post-qualification experience, as per applicable ICMR guidelines.
2. Preferred Qualification
- MD in Community Medicine / Preventive & Social Medicine, with a PhD in a relevant field related to public health, epidemiology, maternal and child health, implementation science, health systems research, or a related discipline.
3. Essential & Desirable Experience
- Essential: A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in public health, epidemiology, clinical/community-based research, implementation research, health systems research, or maternal and child health research.
- Desirable: Experience in maternal and child health research, multicentric project coordination, health system engagement, training/mentoring, statistical software proficiency (R, STATA, SPSS), and peer-reviewed research publications.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning, implementation, and monitoring of ISTMUS project activities across participating states (Meghalaya, Mizoram, Assam, and Tripura).
- Support implementation science training, mentorship, and capacity-building activities.
- Facilitate engagement with state/district health systems, healthcare facilities, and research partners.
- Oversee data collection, management, statistical analysis, and reporting.
- Prepare research protocols, reports, manuscripts, policy briefs, and scientific presentations.
