The Meghalaya Basin Management Agency (MBMA) has officially announced new job openings for the Chief Minister’s Youth Centres (CMYC). This recruitment drive is part of the MPOWER project (Meghalaya Program for Adolescent Wellbeing, Empowerment and Resilience), which focuses on the holistic development of adolescents aged 09 to 19 across the state. MBMA is looking for dedicated individuals to join on a contractual basis to drive community engagement and innovation at the grassroots level.

1. Community Associate
Number of Vacancies: 7 Posts.
Salary: Rs. 22,100/- per month plus HRA and Mobile Allowance.
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience Required: At least 1 year of experience in youth programs, skill development, or community-based learning.
Key Skills: Documentation (reports, photography, videography), financial integrity, and fluency in local languages (Khasi, Jaintia, or Garo).
Postings: Samanda, Dolwarigre, Sohrarim, Saiden, Pasyih, Nongkhlaw, Rongsak Songma, and Jakrem.
2. Innovation Associate
Number of Vacancies: 5 Posts.
Salary: Rs. 22,100/- per month plus HRA and Mobile Allowance.
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in community engagement, education, or social initiatives.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), data entry, and mobile-based reporting tools.
Postings: Umling, Doldegre, Silsotchigre, Jakrem, and Madanlyngkhi.
Important Application Guidelines
Age Limit: The maximum age for applicants is 45 years.
Essential Skills: All candidates must have excellent communication skills and be experts in basic computer applications like word processing and spreadsheets.
Selection Venue: Please note that the written tests and personal interviews will be conducted exclusively in Shillong.
