Post-Wise Vacancy, Qualification & Experience Requirements
1. Ayurvedic Pharmacist
- Number of Posts: 1
- Place of Posting: Shillong
- Remuneration: As per MMDSL norms
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Ayurveda) / B.Pharm (Ayur) OR Diploma in Pharmacy (Ayurveda) / D.Pharm (Ayur) from a recognized institution. Valid registration with the concerned competent authority or State Pharmacy Council, wherever applicable.
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in an Ayurvedic pharmacy, hospital, healthcare institution, drug store, or pharmaceutical supply-chain setting.
- Core Responsibilities: Managing warehouse operations related to Ayurvedic medicines, including inventory management, accurate dispensing, stock rotation using First Expiry First Out (FEFO) practices, maintaining registers, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
2. Homoeopathic Pharmacist

- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Homoeopathic Pharmacy / B.Pharm (Homoeopathy) OR Diploma in Homoeopathic Pharmacy / D.Pharm (Homoeopathy) from a recognized institution. Valid registration with the concerned competent authority or State Pharmacy Council, wherever applicable.
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in a Homoeopathic pharmacy, pharmaceutical warehouse, hospital, healthcare institution, drug store, or pharmaceutical supply-chain setting.
- Core Responsibilities: Handling receipt, storage, physical stock verification, packing, and dispatch of Homoeopathic medicines to designated healthcare facilities, maintaining warehouse documentation, and complying with safety standards.{inAds}
General Selection Criteria & Terms
- Domicile Preference: Preference will be given to candidates who are domiciles of Meghalaya.
- Experience Relaxation: The competent authority reserves the right to relax minimum experience criteria if the number of candidates meeting the requirements is insufficient.
