NEIGRIHMS Recruitment 2026- The Director, North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences, Shillong, invites online applications for the posts of Deputy Medical Superintendent, Bio Medical Engineer,r and Medical Physicist on Direct Recruitment.
1. Post Name: Deputy Medical Superintendent
- No of posts: 1 [UR:1]
- Age limit: Not exceeding 40 years as on the closing date.
- Salary: Pay level-11 of Pay Matrix.
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- A medical qualification included in the first schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (a person possessing a qualification included in part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (3) of the Act.
- MD/MS degree recognized by MCI.
- The candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
- Five years of experience in the administration of a Major Hospital of at least 500 beds or any health care organization. Preference will be given to candidates having an MHA or an MD in Hospital Administration.
2. Post Name: Bio Medical Engineer
- No of posts: 1 [UR:1]
- Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on the closing date.
- Salary: Pay level-10 of Pay Matrix.
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- B.Tech /B.E. in Electronics or Bachelor’s Degree in Bio Medical Engineering from a recognized University.
- Three years’ experience in a relevant field in a Medical Institute in the installation and maintenance of medical equipment.
3. Post Name: Medical Physicist
- No of posts: 1 [OBC:1]
- Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on closing date.
- Salary: Pay level-10 of Pay Matrix.
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- M.Sc in Medical Physics/Nuclear Medicine or equivalent from a recognized University with one year of working experience in the concerned field after M.Sc.
- OR
- (i) M.Sc Physics from a recognized University.
- (ii) A post-graduate diploma/degree in Radiological/ Medical Physics from a recognized university/institution.
