Eligibility Criteria & Key Details
1. Position & Pay Scale
- Post Name: Project Nurse II (Research Nurse)
- Consolidated Salary: Rs. 20,000/- + 10% HRA per month
- Maximum Age Limit: Up to 28 Years
2. Educational Qualifications
- Minimum Essential Qualification: 3-Year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Course.
- Language Proficiency: Good command of Khasi & English (Speaking, reading, and writing).
3. Desirable Experience
- Prior experience in supervising data collection and coordinating multi-site projects.
- Prior experience in Maternal Child Health projects.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Knowledge of computer software for data collection, documentation, data entry, cleaning, analysis, and transcription.
- Training in Research Methodology and skills in conducting training programs.
4. Job Responsibilities & Travel Requirements
- Liaise with investigators, attend project coordination meetings, and supervise day-to-day progress, including recruitment, monitoring, and echocardiography.
- Recruit, consent, and interview volunteer patients to collect study data.
- Coordinate follow-up visits, perform daily data entry into PTS II software to ensure data integrity, and oversee smooth project implementation.
- Field/site visits or patient follow-ups may be required; TA/DA will be provided as per ICMR norms.
5. Shortlisting & Selection Process
- Shortlisting Ratio: Candidates equal to 5 times the number of posts will be shortlisted based on application details, CV, and documentary proof provided.
- Evaluation Criteria: Final selection will be based on application evaluation, CV, and written test/interview.
