1. Post Name: Assistant Professor (Physical Education)
- No of posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 45,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) with minimum 55% marks for General candidates and 50% for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ Differently-abled candidates.
- Experience: Training/ qualification in Yoga Education.
2. Post Name: Assistant Professor (Social Science)
- No of posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 45,000/- per month
- Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences with minimum 55% marks for General candidates and 50% for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ Differently-abled candidates. M.Ed. degree with a minimum 55% marks. Besides fulfilling the above qualification, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET)/SLET in the relevant subject for Assistant Professors conducted by the University Grant Commission. Provided candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Education in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum Standard and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the clearing of NET for appointment as Assistant Professor or equivalent position in University or College or Institutions.
- Experience: Teaching Experience in Colleges/Institutions for teaching Methodology for B.Ed/M.Ed Students for methods of Social Science.
3. Post Name: Assistant Professor (Fine Arts) (Part Time)
- No of posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 1,000/- per class or a maximum of Rs. 25,000/-per month
- Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Fine Arts (MFA) with minimum 55% marks for General candidates and 50% for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ Differently-abled candidates.
4. Post Name: Assistant Professor (Performing Arts) (Part Time)
- No of posts: 1
- Salary: Rs. 1,000/- per class or a maximum of Rs. 25,000/-per month
- Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Music/Dance/Theatre Arts with minimum 55% marks for General candidates and 50% for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ Differently-abled candidates.

Interested candidates should report between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on 12th February 2026 at NERIE, Shillong, for attendance and document verification.
No candidate will be considered for attendance/interview after 10:00 A.M. on 12th February, 2026.
The candidates will have to submit a duly filled-up application form only in the prescribed format along-with self-attested copies of testimonials, experience certificate, and one copy passport-size photograph on the date of the interview. The originals are to be brought for verification; failing which, the candidate will not be allowed to attend the interview.
