Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (As of 01.04.2026)
- Standard Age: 20 to 28 years (Candidates born between 02.04.1998 and 01.04.2006).
- Upper Age Relaxations:
- SC / ST: Up to 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Up to 3 years
- PwBD (General / EWS): Up to 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): Up to 13 years
- PwBD (SC / ST): Up to 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Actual military service + 3 years (Max age 50 years)
Educational Qualification (As of 31.12.2026)
- Degree Requirement: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Final Year Students: Provisionally eligible, provided they produce proof of passing graduation on or before 31.12.2026.
- Language Proficiency: Must be proficient (read, write, speak, and understand) in the opted local language of the applied State/UT.
Pay Scale & Monthly Salary
- Pay Scale: ₹24,050 – ₹64,480
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹26,730/- per month (Includes two advance increments for graduates).
- Approximate Total Emoluments: Around ₹46,000/- per month (at metro centers, inclusive of D.A. and other allowances).
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Selection consists of three sequential phases:
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (100 Marks | 1 Hour)
- English Language: 30 Questions | 30 Marks | 20 Minutes
- Numerical Ability: 35 Questions | 35 Marks | 20 Minutes
- Reasoning Ability: 35 Questions | 35 Marks | 20 Minutes
- Negative Marking: 1/4th mark deducted for every incorrect response.
Phase-II: Main Examination (200 Marks | 2 Hours 40 Minutes)
- General / Financial Awareness: 50 Questions | 50 Marks | 35 Minutes
- General English: 40 Questions | 40 Marks | 35 Minutes
- Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Questions | 50 Marks | 45 Minutes
- Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 50 Questions | 60 Marks | 45 Minutes
Phase-III: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
Conducted for provisionally selected candidates who did not study the local language in 10th or 12th standard.{inAds}
