Detailed Educational Qualifications
As per the latest KVS recruitment rules for 2026-27, candidates must possess the following qualifications for their respective posts:
1. PGT - Computer Science
Candidates must have at least 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following:
- B.E. or B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University.
- B.E. or B.Tech (any stream) plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer from a recognized University.
- M.Sc. (Computer Science), MCA, or equivalent.
- B.Sc. (Computer Science), BCA, or equivalent plus a Post Graduate degree in any subject.
- "B" Level from DOEACC and a Post Graduate degree in any subject.
- Mandatory: Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.
2. Miscellaneous & Vocational Posts
- Sports Coach: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent from a recognized University.
- Yoga Instructor: Graduation in any subject with at least one year of training/certification in Yoga from a recognized institution.
- TGT Special Educator: Graduate with B.Ed. (Special Education) OR B.Ed. (General) with a one-year Diploma in Special Education. Candidates must have passed CTET Paper-II and have a valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Vocational Instructor: B.E. or B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or relevant field.
General Requirements
- Desirable Skills: Knowledge of Computer Applications for all posts.
- Relaxation: If candidates with CTET, B.Ed., or D.El.Ed. are unavailable, relaxation may be provided as per KVS rules.
- Language: Proficiency to teach through Hindi and English medium is essential.
