Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma Trainee (Electrical/Civil/Survey): Full-time regular three-year Diploma in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 70% marks (Pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD).
  • Junior Officer Trainee (HR): Three-year full-time regular BBA/BBM/BBS or equivalent with not less than 60% marks.
  • Junior Technician Trainee (Survey): Full-time regular two-year ITI (Surveyor) from a recognized board.
  • Note on Higher Education: Candidates possessing higher technical qualifications like B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech or PG degrees/diplomas are strictly not allowed to apply.

Age Limit (as on 11.05.2026)

  • Upper Age Limit: 27 years.
  • Relaxations: 3 years for OBC(NCL), 5 years for SC/ST, and 10–15 years for PwBD.

Salary and Training Period

Selected candidates will undergo training for one year.

  • DT/JOT Level: Monthly stipend during training is ₹24,000 plus IDA, HRA, and perks. Post-training annual CTC is approximately ₹12.7 Lakhs.
  • JTT Level: Monthly stipend during training is ₹21,000 plus IDA, HRA, and perks. Post-training annual CTC is approximately ₹10.9 Lakhs.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of a Written Test / Computer-Based Test (CBT) with 100% weightage. For JOT and JTT positions, a qualifying Computer Skill Test or Trade Test is also required. The CBT will be held in centers including Shillong, Guwahati, and Dibrugarh for the NER region.
