Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
To be eligible for the Headmaster vacancy in East Khasi Hills, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold a Post Graduate degree in any stream. Additionally, a B.Ed degree is mandatory for this position.
Professional Experience: Candidates should preferably have 5 years of teaching experience. Furthermore, at least 2 years of experience in school administration is required to handle the leadership responsibilities of the school effectively.
Age Limit (as of 01.01.2026):
General Category: Between 18 to 32 years.
SC/ST Candidates: Relaxable up to 5 years (Upper limit 37 years).
Govt. Aided School Staff: Upper age limit is 40 years for those currently serving.
RMSA Staff: There is no age limit for existing Assistant Lecturers or Assistant Teachers currently working in RMSA Schools.
