Eligibility Criteria for NHIDCL Associate Recruitment 2026
To be considered for the NHIDCL Recruitment 2026 Meghalaya State Specific Graduate Scheme, applicants must meet the following essential eligibility requirements:
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree in Civil Engineering (or an equivalent discipline).
- The degree must be obtained from IITs, NITs, or other premium institutions ranked within the top 100 in the Engineering category of the NIRF Rankings for the year of graduation (or the preceding year).
- Final Year Students: Graduate students appearing in their final year are also fully encouraged to apply, provided they are likely to complete their graduation before the official date of joining.
2. Experience Requirement
- Freshers and early-career professionals with 0 to 2 years of experience after completing their essential educational qualification are eligible.
3. Age Limit
- The maximum upper age limit is 30 years as of the date of issuance of the advertisement (July 6, 2026).
4. Domicile Mandatory Rule
- A person shall be eligible to apply for vacancies advertised for a particular State/UT under this Scheme only if he/she is a domicile holder of that particular State/UT. For the 10 posts in Meghalaya, only permanent domicile holders of Meghalaya will be considered.{inAds}
Remuneration & Monthly Perks
- Monthly Consultancy Fee: Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration ranging from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 80,000 per month.
- Annual Increment: An annual performance-based enhancement of 5% on the consultancy fee will be allowed.
- Note: The monthly remuneration is inclusive of all applicable taxes, and no other allowances or facilities will be provided except specific location allowances where applicable.
Job Roles and Terms of Reference (ToR)
Hired Associates will undergo a mandatory 3-day Induction Module and may face periodic "Competency Tests". Their core operational responsibilities will include:
- Project Preparation & Design Appraisal: Assisting in reviewing feasibility studies, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), alignment plans, and maintaining strict compliance with IRC/MoRTH standards.
- Construction Supervision & Monitoring: Undertaking field and site visits, tracking physical and financial progress, and reporting on quality control, safety protocols, and specification adherence.
- Contract Management Support: Helping with technical notes, general project correspondence, and maintaining project records/MIS.
- Quality Assurance: Reviewing material test results, inspecting site construction practices, and assuring alignment with approved Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs).
