Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
To be eligible for the SBI Trade Finance Officer recruitment, candidates must meet the following requirements as of the cut-off date, April 30, 2026.
Age Limit: The minimum age required is 23 years, and the maximum age is 32 years. However, upper age relaxations apply for reserved categories: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and up to 15 years for PwBD candidates.
Educational Qualifications:
Mandatory: You must be a Graduate in any discipline from a government-recognized university.
BIPreferred: Candidates with CDCS certification, Certificate in Trade Finance, or Certificate in International Banking will be given preference.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience is mandatory. This experience must be in Trade Finance processing in a supervisory or official role within any Scheduled Commercial Bank.
Salary and Job Profile
The Trade Finance Officer (MMGS-II) will be on a pay scale of Rs. 64,820 – Rs. 93,960. In addition to the basic pay, officers are eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Medical Facilities, and LFC as per the bank's rules.
The job involves high-level responsibilities, including the scrutiny of Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees, ensuring compliance with RBI, FEDAI, and ICC guidelines, and managing centralized Forex transactions within strict turnaround times.{inAds}
