This 6-month paid internship programme is specifically designed for Persons with Locomotor Disabilities who are domicile residents of the East Khasi Hills District. Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
To be eligible for this SRCDA internship in Shillong, candidates must meet the following educational and residency requirements:
Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), or higher degrees.
Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in both English and Khasi.
Residency: You must be a permanent resident of East Khasi Hills District, with preference given to those residing in Shillong. A valid Voter ID is required.
Age Limit: Candidates should not exceed 32 years as of January 1, 2026. This is relaxable up to 37 years for SC/ST candidates.
Roles and Responsibilities
Selected interns will contribute to the following core activities at SRCDA:
Assisting in the preparation and formatting of official reports and media documentation.
Facilitating the generation and processing of UDID Disability Certificates via the national portal.
Supporting digital accessibility reviews of internal documents.
Coordinating data validation and assisting in awareness programmes across blocks in the Khasi Hills region.
Selection Process
The recruitment involves a strict scrutiny and screening process. A list of eligible candidates will be published on the official website, after which selected individuals will be called for an interview. Note that no separate call letters will be sent, and no TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
