Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification & Experience
Assistant Professor:
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade point scale) in the concerned subject from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC non-creamy layer).
- Cleared NET/CSIR-NET conducted by UGC-CSIR or SLET/SET in the concerned subject. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree, as per UGC Regulations, are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Associate Professor:
- Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject.
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching or research in an academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor.
- Minimum 7 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals with a total research score as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
Professor:
- Eminent scholar with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject and actively engaged in research.
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals with a total research score of 120.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in a university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor or equivalent research experience.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages:
- Shortlisting of Candidates: Candidates are shortlisted based on academic credentials, research score, and publication evaluation in accordance with UGC Regulations, 2018.
- Personal Interview: Final selection will be based entirely on performance in the Personal Interview. Candidates will be called for interview in a specified ratio (1:3 for Assistant Professor, 1:5 for Associate Professor, and 1:5 for Professor).
