Eligibility Criteria for CWSSU Guest Faculty
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade point scale) in the concerned subject from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university.
- A 5% relaxation applies to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy Layer) candidates.
2. Eligibility Test
- Candidates must have cleared NET / CSIR-NET conducted by UGC-CSIR or SET / SLET-NE in the concerned subject.
3. Exemption from NET/SLET/SET
- Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (and amendments) are exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.{inAds}
Remuneration & Selection Process
- Honorarium: Selected candidates will receive an honorarium of ₹1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum ceiling of ₹50,000/- per month in accordance with UGC guidelines.
- Benefits: No other financial benefits, allowances, pension, gratuity, or leave benefits applicable to regular teachers will be admissible.
- Shortlisting: Where the number of eligible applicants is large, candidates will ordinarily be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:4 against the number of Guest Faculty required based on academic merit.
- Interview: Selection will be made through an interview conducted by a duly constituted Selection Committee. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
