Eligibility Criteria for Rubber Board Young Professional Recruitment

To be considered for this recruitment drive, applicants must fulfill the following educational and age requirements:

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Forestry. Alternatively, a Master's degree in Botany, Plant Science, or an equivalent degree from a recognized university is also acceptable.

2. Age Limit

The applicant's age must not be more than 30 years as of June 1, 2026.

3. Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Preference will be given to candidates who have practical experience in agricultural extension, specifically within rubber cropping systems.
  • Proficiency in the local language of the respective region is a highly desirable qualification.

Salary and Contract Period

  • Consolidated Pay: Selected candidates will receive a fixed stipend of Rs. 40,000 per month. This includes a base salary component of Rs. 30,000 and a Travelling Allowance/Daily Allowance (TA/DA) component of Rs. 10,000. No other additional allowances will be provided.
  • Tenure: The initial engagement is purely on a temporary and contract basis for a duration of 3 months up to September 30, 2026. However, this period may be extended until March 31, 2027, subject to the approval of the EFC Scheme for the 16th FC Cycle by the Government of India.{inAds}

Important Terms and Working Conditions

  • Job Responsibilities: Candidates must be ready to undertake extensive tours to various rubber plantations, organize training programmes, and complete field duties as directed by controlling officers. No extra TA/DA will be paid for field tours outside the consolidated monthly pay.
  • Office Hours: The general working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Candidates must render services beyond office hours if emergencies or institutional exigencies arise.
  • Leave Policy: Young Professionals enjoy standard Rubber Board holidays. They are also allowed 1 day of casual leave, which requires prior advance approval. Unauthorized or excess absence will result in proportionate salary deductions or immediate termination.
  • Performance Evaluation: A periodic assessment of work will be conducted. Services can be terminated at any time without notice if the performance is deemed unsatisfactory.
