Qualification Criteria and Academic Standards
- Academic Percentage Requirement:
- M.E. / M.Tech: Minimum 60% aggregate (or CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale).
- B.E. / B.Tech / M.Sc.: Minimum 65% aggregate (or CGPA of 6.84 on a 10-point scale).
- Mandatory Testing Requirement: Applicants for JRF positions must possess a valid NET, GATE, JAM, JEST, JGEEBILS, or ICAR-AICE score card.
- Language Support: Candidates have the option to answer in Hindi during the interview.{inAds}
Age Limit & Tenure
- Research Scientist: Up to 28 years (M.Sc.-based) or 30 years (M.Tech-based).
- Junior Research Fellow: Up to 28 years.
- Project Associate - I: Up to 35 years.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and relaxation for Ex-Servicemen and PwD as per Government rules.
- Tenure: Positions are temporary and co-terminus with the project. The maximum period is up to 3 years for Research Scientists and up to 5 years for JRF/PA-I.
How to Attend the Walk-in Interview
- Download and neatly type your details in the prescribed Bio-data format available on the official NESAC website. Handwritten bio-data will not be accepted.
- Bring the printed bio-data along with all original academic certificates, experience proof, and one set of self-attested photocopies.
- Candidates employed in Central/State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous bodies must produce an original "No Objection Certificate" (NOC).
- Carry a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driver's License, or Voter ID) for entry verification.
