Key Responsibilities & Skill Requirements
The appointed Human Resource Executive will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations at STEMS Shillong:
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: End-to-end recruitment and onboarding of drivers, conductors, and administrative office staff.
- Workforce Management: Managing payroll, attendance, and leave records for over 100+ operational personnel.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to statutory norms including PF, ESI, Labour Laws, and the Motor Transport Workers Act.
- HRMIS & Records: Maintaining accurate employee documentation and updating HR Management Information Systems (HRMIS).
- Employee Relations: Managing grievances, disciplinary actions, and standard exit formalities.
- HR Communications: Drafting official HR policies, notices, memos, and organizational circulars.
- Technical & Language Skills: High proficiency in MS Excel and specialized HR software, alongside strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and local languages.{inAds}
Important Terms & Conditions
- Nature of Appointment: The engagement is purely contractual for a duration of one year. It confers no right or claim for permanent absorption or regularization in government service.
