Educational Qualification Standards

  • Candidates must possess a B.E./B. Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science Engineering.
  • Minimum aggregate required is 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84 out of 10.
  • Graduation must be completed within the stipulated duration of the course prescribed by the University. Conversion of CGPA to percentage is strictly not permitted if the university issues only CGPA.

Age Limit and Relaxations

  • Upper age limit is 28 years as of September 16, 2026.
  • Age relaxation is applicable for serving Central Government civilian employees, Ex-Servicemen, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) as per Government of India rules.

Salary and Pay Scale

  • Selected candidates will be placed in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix with a starting basic pay of ₹56,100 per month.
  • Additional benefits include Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, New Pension Scheme (NPS), medical benefits, and Group Insurance.

Application Fee & Refund Structure

  • Initial Processing Fee: All candidates must pay ₹750 per application.
  • Actual Application Fee: ₹250 (non-refundable).
  • Fee Refund Rules:
    • Candidates exempted from fee (Women, SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen) receive a full refund of ₹750 upon appearing in the Written Test/CBT.
    • All other candidates receive a refund of ₹500 after deducting the ₹250 application fee upon appearing in the written exam.
    • Refunds are forfeited if the candidate fails to appear for the Written Test/CBT.

Selection Process

  • Written Test / Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 total marks.
    • Part A (Discipline Specific): 80 MCQs, 80 marks, 90 minutes. (+1 for correct, -1/3 for incorrect).
    • Part B (Aptitude/Ability Test): 15 MCQs (max 20 marks), 30 minutes. (No negative marking).
    • Qualifying marks: 50% in Part A and 50% in Part B for Unreserved; 40% in each part for reserved PwBD.
  • Interview: 100 marks covering technical knowledge, general awareness, communication, comprehension, and academic background.
    • Shortlisting ratio for interview is 1:5 based on written performance.
  • Final Panel Selection: Weightage is split 50% on Written Test marks and 50% on Interview marks.
