The High Court of Delhi has released an official vacancy notice for the Senior Personal Assistant (SPA) and Personal Assistant (PA) Examination 2026. Eligible Indian citizens and subjects of Nepal can submit online applications starting from September 15, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria (As on 05.10.2026)
- Senior Personal Assistant: Graduate degree from a recognized University. Shorthand speed of at least 110 w.p.m. in English and typing speed of at least 40 w.p.m. on computer with good working knowledge of computers.
- Personal Assistant: Graduate degree from a recognized University. Shorthand speed of at least 100 w.p.m. in English and typing speed of at least 40 w.p.m. on computer with good working knowledge of computers.
Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 32 years (Born between 02.01.1994 and 01.01.2008)
- SC/ST Age Relaxation: 5 years
- OBC-NCL Age Relaxation: 3 years
- PwBD-General/EWS Age Relaxation: 10 years
- PwBD-OBC Age Relaxation: 13 years
- PwBD-SC/ST Age Relaxation: 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen Age Relaxation: 3 years after military service deduction
Application Fee
- General / OBC-NCL / EWS: ₹1500/-
- SC / ST / PwBD (40% or more disability): ₹1300/-

Application Form Correction Charges
- First Correction Re-submission: ₹200/-
- Second Correction Re-submission: ₹500/-
Mode of Selection
- Stage I (Qualifying): English Typing Test of 10 minutes at 40 w.p.m. on computer (Maximum 3% total errors allowed).
- Stage II (120 Marks for SPA / 110 Marks for PA): English Shorthand Test (Dictation of 5 minutes; 110 w.p.m. for SPA and 100 w.p.m. for PA with 45 minutes transcription time). Permissible errors: 5% (27.5 errors max for SPA, 25 errors max for PA).
- Stage III (100 Marks): Main Descriptive Examination covering Essay writing (250 words - 40 marks), Letter writing (15 marks), Grammar & Comprehension (25 marks), and Translation (Hindi to English - 10 marks & English to Hindi - 10 marks). Minimum passing marks: 50% for General, 45% for Reserved Categories.
- Stage IV (15 Marks): Interview.
How to Apply Step-by-Step
- Go to the official Delhi High Court online application portal.
- Register using a valid email ID and mobile number to receive your system-generated login credentials.
- Log in to fill out the application form with your personal, educational, and category details.
- Upload a scanned passport-size color photograph in JPEG format (100 KB to 200 KB, 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, 75% face coverage, straight view with ears visible, no glasses/cap/mask).
- Complete the mandatory live photograph capture via webcam or mobile device in proper lighting.
- Upload a scanned Left Hand Thumb Impression in JPEG format (50 KB to 200 KB).
- Upload your scanned signature in JPEG format (50 KB to 150 KB; do not write in capital letters).
- Pay the non-refundable application fee online using UPI, Net Banking, or Credit/Debit card.
- Verify all filled fields and submit the online application form.
- Download and save the generated Confirmation Page for future reference.
