Educational Qualification:
- Master's Degree from a recognized university in the concerned subject with at least 50% aggregate marks, along with a B.Ed. degree with at least 50% marks from an NCTE-recognized institution.
- OR Integrated Post Graduate Course from an NCTE-recognized institution in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- OR 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. or 4-year integrated degree with 50% marks.
- The candidate must have studied the concerned subject at the Graduation level.

Age Limit:
- The maximum age limit is 50 years as of August 1, 2026.
- For Ex-NVS / Superannuated Government School Teachers, the maximum age limit is 65 years as of August 1, 2026.
Selection Procedure & Marking Structure
The total assessment is out of 100 marks. Weightage for educational qualification and experience accounts for 75 marks, while the personal interaction (walk-in interview) carries 25 marks. Evaluation parameters during the interview include pedagogy, subject knowledge, proficiency in English and regional language, suitability for residential school systems, computer application skills, general knowledge, and overall personality.
