- Educational Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing or General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council-recognized institution. Must be registered under the Meghalaya Nursing Council at the time of applying.
2. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM)
- Total Posts: 32 (31 New Vacancies + 1 Unfilled Vacancy for Sports Person)
- Category Breakdown: Unreserved - 4, Khasi & Jaintia - 12, Garo - 13, Other STs/SCs - 2, Sports Person - 1

Age Limit & Relaxations
Age is calculated as of 1st January 2026:
- General Age Limit: 18 to 32 years
- Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (SC) of Meghalaya (Up to 42 years).
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection of candidates will be made based purely on merit obtained in the written examination:

- Total Marks: 100 Marks (90 marks from Indian Nursing Council Syllabus + 10 marks on Current National Health Programmes)
