Eligibility Criteria (As on 31.07.2026)
Age Limit: Candidates must not exceed 30 years as of July 31, 2026 (must be born on or after August 1, 1996). Upper age relaxations apply: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10 to 15 years for PwBD, and 5 years for Ex-servicemen.
Educational Qualifications:
- General Stream: Master's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma (minimum 2 years) in any discipline, OR Bachelor's Degree in Law, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, OR ACA/FCA (ICAI), ACS/FCS (ICSI), ACMA/FCMA (ICMAI), or CFA (CFA Institute).
- Research Stream: Master's Degree / 2-year PG Diploma in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, AI, ML, Big Data Analytics, or Mathematics with a 1-year PG Diploma in Statistics.
- Actuary Stream: Graduation from a recognized university AND pass/exemption in all 7 'Core Principles' subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI).
- Official Language (Rajbhasha) Stream: Master's Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English at the Bachelor's level, OR Master's Degree in English/Sanskrit/Economics/Commerce with Hindi at the Bachelor's level.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
- Phase I (Screening CBT): Paper 1 (General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning - 100 Marks, 60 Mins) and Paper 2 (Multiple-choice questions on Stream Subjects - 100 Marks, 40 Mins). Negative marking of 1/4th applies.
- Phase II (Main CBT): Paper 1 (Descriptive English - 100 Marks, 60 Mins) and Paper 2 (Specialized Subject MCQs - 100 Marks, 40 Mins). Final merit weightage gives 85% to Phase II scores.
- Phase III (Interview): Shortlisted candidates (5 times the vacancies) undergo the interview round, holding 15% weightage in final selection.
