Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification (As on 30.06.2026)

  • Generalists: Graduate or Post Graduate degree in any discipline (Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Data Science, Agriculture, etc.) from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
  • Hindi Officers: Master's degree from a recognized university in Hindi with English as a compulsory/elective subject OR Master's degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD). Other combinations of Master's degrees with specific English/Hindi mediums as outlined in the official notification are also valid.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of computers is mandatory for all positions.


2. Age Limit (As on 30.06.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years
  • Maximum Age: 30 Years (Candidate must be born between 30.06.1996 and 30.06.2005, both days inclusive)
  • Age Relaxations:
    • SC / ST: 5 Years
    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
    • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 Years
    • Ex-Servicemen: 5 Years
    • Widows, Divorced women, and legally separated women: 9 Years
    • Existing confirmed employees of Public Sector General Insurance Companies: 8 Years

Selection Scheme & Exam Pattern

Tier-I: Preliminary Examination (Objective - 100 Marks - 1 Hour)

  • English Language: 30 Questions / 30 Marks (20 Minutes)
  • Reasoning Ability: 35 Questions / 35 Marks (20 Minutes)
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 35 Questions / 35 Marks (20 Minutes)


Tier-II: Main Examination (Objective + Descriptive)

  • For Generalists: Objective exam of 200 questions worth 250 marks (150 minutes duration covering Reasoning, English, Quant, General Awareness with financial focus, and Computer Knowledge) + Descriptive Test in English (Letter & Essay) worth 30 marks (30 minutes).
  • For Hindi Officers: Objective exam of 150 questions worth 200 marks (120 minutes covering English, Reasoning, Professional Knowledge, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge) + Descriptive Test in English & Hindi worth 50 marks (60 minutes).

Negative Marking: 1/4th (0.25) of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for wrong objective answers.

  1. Keep Documents Ready: Ensure you have high-quality scanned copies of your recent passport-size color photograph (20-50 KB), clear signature in black ink (10-20 KB), left thumb impression (20-50 KB), and a handwritten declaration in English on white paper (50-100 KB).

  3. Register New Account: Click on the link for APPLY ONLINE and select Click here for New Registration. Enter your basic contact details, including full name, valid email address, and mobile number.
  4. Save Registration Credentials: Note down the system-generated Provisional Registration Number and Password sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.

  6. Upload Scanned Files: Upload your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and the handwritten declaration as per the required specifications.
