Detailed Job Overview & Responsibilities

The selected Data Entry Operator will work closely with the Program Lead and team members to ensure database integrity, analysis, and smooth donor reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Management: Entering pre/post-test results, questionnaires, workbooks, and program registers into monitoring sheets.
  • Quality Assurance: Verifying records regularly to correct errors, fill in missing information, and address inconsistencies in data collection.
  • Database Maintenance: Organizing files and updating records regularly to support reporting and proposal drafting.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyzing entries to generate summary tables and narrative reports as requested.
  • Team Collaboration: Supporting the Communications/PR team with updated figures for website updates and assisting in compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Eligibility Criteria & Skills Needed

Qualification & Experience

  • Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Statistics. Candidates with backgrounds in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or Public Health with relevant M&E experience are also eligible.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in data entry, Management Information Systems (MIS), or M&E support roles.{inAds}

Technical & Soft Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel (formulas). Knowledge of SPSS or related M&E software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and basic understanding of NGO Monitoring & Evaluation concepts.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
