The application deadline is 26th July 2025 till 5:00 P.M.

- Age limit: They should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, 2025. The upper age limit for candidates is 25 years as on 31st December, 2025. However the upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years for the candidates of Meghalaya belonging to ST/SC/OST.
- Essential Qualification: Only candidates who are indigenous inhabitants or Permanent Residents of the State and have passed 10+2 level examination from a recognized University, Board of Authority with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are eligible to apply (Persons applying for B. Pharm & D.Pharm seat should also have Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level examination). Candidates should also secure a minimum of 45% aggregated marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB). PRC (issued by the competent Authority i.e. Deputy Commissioner of the respective place of residence) is to be submitted at the time of online submission of Application.

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through the Meghalaya Health Services Official website from 12th July 2025 to 26th July 2025 at 5:00 P.M.

Selection of candidates, who are medically fit and eligible, will be made purely on the basis of merit and subject to Reservation Policy of the State Government.
The list of selected candidates eligible for undergoing the course will be displayed on the notice board of Directorate of Health Services (DME), Shillong
and Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, Tura, West Garo Hills and in Government website and it will also be published in the local dailies published from Shillong and Tura.
Selected candidates are to report immediately to the Deputy Secretary/ Under Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department, Room No. 506, Additional Secretariat Building to collect their letter of nominations for further instructions as the case may be Selected candidates who fail to report according to the fixed date will automatically lose their right to nomination and the next eligible candidate from the waiting list will be nominated.
Depending on the availability of vacant post, the Government does not guarantee job on completion of their studies.
