  • Essential Qualification: B.Com/ M.Com
  • Required Experience: Minimum 3–4 years in accounting with inventory management experience
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Hindi, and Khasi is required to communicate effectively across diverse teams and local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally
  2. Prepare and file GST returns and ITR
  3. Assist with day-to-day accounting operations including invoicing, bank reconciliations and expense tracking
  4. Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as required
  5. Handle accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations
  6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  7. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  8. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST filings, TDS, and other statutory requirements
  9. Use CRM tools to track and manage client billing or finance - related communications

Inventory Management Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor stock levels and ensure accuracy through regular stock audits and reconciliations
  2. Maintain inventory records in ERP/inventory software
  3. Analyze inventory reports to reduce discrepancies, wastage, and excess stock
  4. Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for stock movement and updates
  5. Assist in setting inventory KPIs (turnover, shrinkage, reorder levels, etc.)
  6. Implement and maintain best practices in inventory control procedures

Required Skills:

  1. Working knowledge of Tally ERP
  2. Familiarity with GST regulations and ITR filings
  3. Experience using CRM software and Excel
  4. Good analytical and organizational skills
  5. Ability to work independently and in a team
  6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  7. Good organizational and time management abilities
  8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Ability to work independently and handle multi-functional responsibilities
  10. Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with vendors, internal
  11. departments, and management.
  12. Ability to present financial data and inventory reports in a clear and concise manner.
  13. Strong interpersonal skills for coordination with both field and office staff.
