- Essential Qualification: B.Com/ M.Com
- Required Experience: Minimum 3–4 years in accounting with inventory management experience
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Hindi, and Khasi is required to communicate effectively across diverse teams and local stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally
- Prepare and file GST returns and ITR
- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations including invoicing, bank reconciliations and expense tracking
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as required
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST filings, TDS, and other statutory requirements
- Use CRM tools to track and manage client billing or finance - related communications
Inventory Management Responsibilities:
- Monitor stock levels and ensure accuracy through regular stock audits and reconciliations
- Maintain inventory records in ERP/inventory software
- Analyze inventory reports to reduce discrepancies, wastage, and excess stock
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for stock movement and updates
- Assist in setting inventory KPIs (turnover, shrinkage, reorder levels, etc.)
- Implement and maintain best practices in inventory control procedures
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP
- Familiarity with GST regulations and ITR filings
- Experience using CRM software and Excel
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multi-functional responsibilities
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with vendors, internal
- departments, and management.
- Ability to present financial data and inventory reports in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills for coordination with both field and office staff.
