Meghalaya MPSC Recruitment 2026- On behalf of the government of Meghalaya, the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) invites applications (Online mode) from eligible candidates for the posts of Wireman Instructor, Publicity Assistant-cum- Khasi Translator, and Investigator. The last date for submission of the application is 17.04.2026.
1. Post Name: Wireman Instructor
- No of posts: 2 [KJ:1, Garo:1]
- Department: under The Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Department of Labour, Employment & Skill Development, Meghalaya.
- Age limit: 18 to 32 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST. No age bar in respect of regular Government employee who entered Government service within the prescribed age limit.
- Salary: Pay Level 11 of Revised Pay Structure.
- Essential Qualification: 3 (Three) years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/ Institution{inAds}
2. Post Name: Publicity Assistant-cum- Khasi Translator
- No of posts: 1 [KJ:1]
- Department: under the Directorate of Sericulture & Weaving Department of Textiles
- Age limit: 18 to 32 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST. No age bar in respect of a regular Government employee who entered Government service within the prescribed age limit.
- Salary: Pay Level 8 of Revised Pay Structure.
- Essential Qualification:
- Graduated in Mass Communication with knowledge of the Khasi and Jaintia languages.
- Knowledge and experience in the application of Computer/Information Technology.{inAds}
3. Post Name: Investigator
- No of posts: 1 [KJ:1]
- Department: Directorate of Housing
- Age limit: 18 to 32 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST. No age bar in respect of a regular Government employee who entered Government service within the prescribed age limit.
- Salary: Pay Level 5 of Revised Pay Structure.
- Essential Qualification: HSSLC or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Statistics or Economics as one of the subjects.{inAds}

Candidates are to apply and submit their applications through Online mode only by clicking on the “Online Application” icon appearing on the MPSC website viz www.mpsc.nic.in. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected.
Last date for online application is 17:00 hrs on 17th April 2026.
Application Fee
- For posts at SL. no.01 & 02: Rs. 350/-
- For post at SI. no.03: Rs. 320/-
- Half the rate for SC/ST who are permanent residents of the State of Meghalaya.
- For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWDs). Application Fee is exempted, subject to the furnishing of the Disability Certificate to the Commission. (As per Notification No.PER (AR).150/88/Pt. 1/43 dated 29th April, 2015.
