1. Post Name: Counsellor (Part-Time)
- No of posts: 1 (One). Female candidates preferred. Only Garo speaking candidates belonging to Tura should apply.
- Location: Tura
- Working days/hours: 3 days a week, 5 hours per day
- Remuneration: Monthly remuneration of ₹15,000. The person will have to manage their own travel.
- Skills and qualifications:
- Background in MSc Counselling Psychology or MSW with experience in counselling
- 1–2 years of experience working with children
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing the Garo language
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Good communication and active listening skills
2. Post Name: Outreach Educator
- No of posts: 1
- Location: Preferably candidates from Bhoirymbong Block, Ri-Bhoi District
- Timings: 35 – 40 hours a week. Flexibility to work on Saturdays and Holidays.
- Salary: Rs. 20,000/- (based on experience)
- Candidate requirement:
- Minimum Qualification: Master’s degree in Social Work with preferably family and child welfare specialisation.
- 3 years minimum working experience, preferably in child rights and child protection-related issues.
- Good report writing, facilitation, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- A good team player, as well as the ability to work independently.
- The tenacity to work in the child protection system with a deep desire to make a difference to lives of children for justice and to continue to move forward.
- Be open to learning and growth.
- Job Profile: To educate children in schools on personal safety and sensitise adult stakeholders and communities to prevent and respond to Child Sexual Abuse.
