Salary Scale & Compensation

Selected Senior Resident Doctors will be placed in Level 11 of the Pay Matrix, with an initial entry pay of Rs. 67,700/- per month. In addition to the base scale, candidates are entitled to the Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other standard allowances admissible under Central Government Rules for identical positions. Eligibility Criteria & Requirements

1. Educational Qualification

  • Applicants must hold a Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in the respective medical subject recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC).
  • Successful and satisfactory completion of a compulsory internship or housemanship in a recognized hospital facility is mandatory.
  • Candidates must be fully registered with the State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India.
  • Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates who possess practical experience in their respective medical discipline or subject.

2. Age Limit & Relaxations

  • The upper age limit is set at 45 years as of the crucial application deadline.
  • Age relaxation up to 5 years is permitted for SC/ST candidates, and up to 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates for vacancies reserved for them.
