Salary and Emoluments

The current pay scale ranges from a basic pay of Rs. 24,050 to Rs. 64,480. Sports Certificate Awarding Authorities
To verify your sports credentials, you must attach certificates issued by the specific authorities designated for each level of competition
- International Competition: Secretary of the National Federation of the concerned game
- National Competition: Secretary of the National Federation or Secretary of the State/U.T. Association of the concerned game
- Inter-University Tournaments: Dean of Sports or the officer in overall charge of sports at the concerned University
- National Sports/Games for Schools: Director or Additional/Joint/Deputy Director in overall charge of sports/games for schools in the Directorate of Public Instructions/Education of the State
- Khelo India Games (University/Youth/Winter/Para): Designated officer or officer-in-charge from the Sports Authority of India (SAI)
Vacancy Details and Sports Disciplines
The bank has announced 30 vacancies distributed across several sports disciplines and locations
- Cricket (Male): 4 vacancies in Delhi and 5 in Mumbai
- Kabaddi (Male & Female): 6 vacancies for males and 5 for females in Mumbai
- Football (Male): 8 vacancies in Mumbai
- Table Tennis (Male & Female): 1 vacancy for males in Chennai and 1 for females in Mumbai
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as of April 1, 2026):
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 28 years
- Relaxation: Meritorious sportspersons can receive up to 5 years of age relaxation (General/EWS)], while SC/ST candidates can receive up to 10 years total relaxation
Educational Qualification:
- A Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government
Application Fee
- General, EWS, and OBC Candidates: Rs. 850/- (inclusive of GST) plus gateway charges
- SC, ST, ESM, and Female Candidates: Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST) plus gateway charges
