About the Opportunity

As an ECCE Language Expert, you will be the bridge between high-quality pedagogy and local communities. You will ensure that early learning materials—including video and activity-based content—are culturally relevant and easy to understand for local stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Content Localization: Translate and adapt educational scripts and materials into Khasi, Garo, or Jaintia to maintain linguistic relevance.
Media Collaboration: Work with media producers to support scripting, dubbing, and the review of localized video content.
User Testing: Conduct field tests with Anganwadi workers and integrate their feedback into content improvements.
Training Support: Train field staff, such as District Coordinators, to ensure localized content is delivered and used accurately.
Strategic Alignment: Ensure all localized materials align with national ECCE frameworks and MECDM priorities.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: You should hold a degree or certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Professional Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in teacher training, curriculum development, or teaching is required.
Cultural Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the local culture and early learning practices in Meghalaya is essential.
Technical Skills: You must be comfortable using digital tools and working within cross-functional teams.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital, particularly for training environments.
Mobility: A willingness to travel frequently to various districts for training and user testing sessions.
