Step 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
A mandatory online objective examination will be administered globally across major cities. The exam comprises 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be solved within 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD applicants requiring scribes). The bilingual paper (English & Hindi) follows the detailed distribution below:
Section 1 (40 Marks): Post-specific specialized domain questions. Covers General Engineering parameters for engineering posts and General Management subjects for management vacancies.
Section 2 (60 Marks): Common section checking Aptitude (Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Proficiency).
Negative Marking Scheme: Deductions apply for every error; exactly 1/4th of the designated question mark will be forfeited for a wrong answer.
CBT Section 1 Cut-Off Marks: 24 Marks (60%) for UR/EWS/OBC categories and 22 Marks (55%) for SC/ST/PwBD applicants.
