Eligibility Criteria & Experience
To be considered for the Manager role at IIM Shillong, candidates must meet the following specific educational and professional requirements:
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must be an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (ICMAI).
Professional Experience A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification work experience in Finance and Accounting is mandatory. This experience should ideally be from Government departments, PSUs, or an equivalent level in the industry.
Age Limit The maximum age limit is 50 years as of the last date of the advertisement publication. However, age relaxation is provided for reserved categories: 5 years for SC/ST/PwD candidates and 3 years for NC-OBC candidates.
Roles and Responsibilities
The selected Managers will handle critical financial operations, including:
Preparing Annual Financial Statements and Budget Estimates.
Maintaining day-to-day accounting and settling individual claims.
Processing payments for vendors and contractors following GFR rules.
Ensuring compliance with Tax laws such as GST and Income Tax.
Assisting in statutory, internal, and CAG Audits.

SC/ST and OBC Candidates: Rs. 200/- (including GST).
Women and PwD Candidates: Fully Exempted from fee payment.
