Eligibility Criteria & Experience
To be eligible for the MBMA District Research Fellow recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Educational Qualification: Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Public Policy, Statistics, Data Analytics & Geoinformation, Natural Sciences, or other interdisciplinary degrees. Relevant social sector experience is essential.
Work Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience working with State, Central, or CSR-funded program implementation is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track record in research writing.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Expertise in basic computer applications, including Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for candidates is 45 years.
Selection Process & Posting
The selection process will involve a Written/Technical Test followed by a Personal Interview, both of which will be conducted exclusively in Shillong. The written test will cover Subject Matter Knowledge, General Knowledge, Reasoning, English, and Computer Knowledge. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via SMS or Email.
Successful candidates will be posted at one of the five designated district headquarters in Meghalaya. Note that no TA/DA will be provided for attending the test or interview.
