Selection Process & Mode of Merit Rules

Selection will be carried out purely on the basis of unit-wise, trade-wise, and community-wise academic merit lists.

  • General Merit Calculation: The final list will be computed using the simple average of percentage marks obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI trade marks.
  • Medical Lab Technician Merit Calculation: The list will be formulated based on the percentage average of Class 10 marks combined with 12th Science marks (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).
  • Tie-Breaking Criteria: If multiple candidates finish with equal marks, the older candidate will be ranked higher. If dates of birth are identical, the candidate who passed the matriculation exam earlier will take preference.
  • Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates will be invited for verification up to 1.5 times the number of notified slots. Candidates must bring original certificates and a medical fitness certificate signed by a government-authorized Gazetted Doctor (not below Assistant Surgeon rank).{inAds}
