Post-wise Vacancy, Qualification & Experience Details
1. Field Supervisor (Civil Works – ITI Packages)
- Objective: Responsible for on-ground site supervision, continuous quality assurance, quantity measurement, and financial verification of civil works across ITI campuses.
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience. OR
- Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience in supervising building/infrastructure works, specifically within ADB or other Multilateral Development Bank (MDB) funded projects.
- Key Duties: Execute daily site supervision, maintain daily geo-tagged & time-stamped site logs, verify contractor claims against Measurement Books (MB), certify Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), and enforce environmental and safety compliance on active campuses.
2. Quantity Surveyor (Civil Works – ITI Packages)
- Objective: Primary verification authority to handle accurate quantity measurement, financial control, invoice certification, and contractor bill validation before PIU approval.
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. OR
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Preferred Experience: Strong background in quantity surveying, contract management, and billing for building/infrastructure projects, ideally under ADB or World Bank guidelines.
- Assignment Duration: Full-time engagement initially for 12 months, extendable based on project performance and needs.
- Key Duties: Maintain Measurement Books (MB), scrutinize arithmetic accuracy and rate applications in contractor bills, assess variations and price adjustments, flag front-loading or overpayment risks, and provide financial progress summaries.
3. Assistant Manager - Communications Manager
- Objective: Spearhead, monitor, and evaluate Awareness & Mobilization (A&M) campaigns to boost student enrollment, community participation, and public visibility for ITIs and departmental initiatives.
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s Degree or Post-Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, Marketing, or related fields with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in PR, corporate communications, or large-scale awareness campaigns. OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, or Marketing with at least 6 years of professional experience in relevant domains.
- Technical & Soft Skills: Content creation, media planning, data analytics, knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), basic video editing/photography, and strong English writing skills (knowledge of Khasi or Garo is advantageous).
- Key Duties: Design A&M strategies, create print/digital outreach material, coordinate career counseling camps and roadshows, track campaign KPIs, manage social media channels/PR, and conduct impact assessments.{inAds}
