Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a passed M.Sc., MS, MCA, B.E., or B.Tech degree in fields like Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer & Networking Security, Software System, or Informatics. The qualification must be completed on or before the closing date of September 30, 2026.
Mandatory GATE Score
Applicants must hold a valid GATE score card from GATE 2024, GATE 2025, or GATE 2026 in the corresponding test paper:
- Computer Science & Information Technology -> GATE Code: CS
- Electronics and Communication Engineering -> GATE Code: EC
- Data Science and Artificial Intelligence -> GATE Code: DA
Age Limit (As on September 30, 2026)
- Unreserved / EWS: Maximum 30 Years
- SC / ST: Maximum 35 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Maximum 33 Years
- PwBD: Maximum 40 Years (Relaxable up to 45 years for SC/ST PwBD, 43 years for OBC PwBD)
- Government Service Candidates: Relaxable up to 35 years (UR/EWS), 40 years (SC/ST), or 38 years (OBC) for candidates working in allied cadres

Selection Process & Tie-Breaking
Selection is based on the category-wise merit list generated from valid GATE scores (equal weightage is given to GATE 2024, GATE 2025, and GATE 2026). Shortlisted candidates will be invited for Document Verification.
In case two or more candidates tie on GATE scores, the following order of preference will be used:
- 1. Older GATE score year gets higher preference.
- 2. Older candidate by age gets higher preference if the score and year are identical.
- 3. Higher percentage in essential qualification degree gets higher preference if age is also equal.

- SC, ST, PwBD, and Women Candidates: Nil (Exempted)
- UR, OBC (NCL), and EWS Candidates: Rs. 800/- per discipline
