Eligibility for Structural Engineer Jobs in Shillong
Structural/Infrastructure Mitigation Specialist (Structural Engineer)
- Qualification: Master's Degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Structural Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or Disaster Mitigation Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the field with knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Age Limit: 65 years maximum.
Assistant Structural Engineer
- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Structural Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or Disaster Mitigation Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the field with knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Age Limit: 18 to 32 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Salary
- Structural/Infrastructure Mitigation Specialist (Structural Engineer): Fixed ₹65,000 per month.
- Assistant Structural Engineer: Fixed ₹45,000 per month.
- No other allowances will be admissible.
Period of Engagement
- Engagement will be for 1 year, which may be extended or curtailed as per the requirement and satisfactory performance.
- The engagement is full-time. Selected candidates will not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the engagement period with SDMA.
Selection Process
- Selection will be through an Interview Committee.
- The decision of the Interview Committee is final and binding on all candidates.
